Having been temporarily out of action I am pleased to inform everyone that I am now back on deck. I would like to thank Past District Governor Kim Harvey for filling in for me during my absence.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Lee Camporeale from the Rotary Club of Mitcham and in this Rotary year I am looking after the Centurion Program for District 9520, a program which encourages Rotarians to donate $100 (AUD) or more to The Rotary Foundation – Our Charity, each year for as long as they are able.

Zaric Family of Nangus
Three weeks ago I came home after my Rotary Club meeting and watched the show Struggle Street on SBS. My first thoughts were that Rotary can make a difference to this family, the Zaric family of Nangus.
Rotary Club of Onkaparinga Rania School Renovation
This project is to renovate and modernize four schools in the town of RANIA situated in Kurdistan to allow better sanitation and hygiene, thereby enhancing much needed
education especially for girls who are missing out on a monthly bases due to lack of toilet facility privacy and to also repair general class room standards to increase student and staff safety.
Rotary Grant Model Evaluation Results
You can now see a summary of the results of the 2018-19 grant model evaluation that was presented to the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation. The purpose of the evaluation was to determine how satisfied Rotarians are with the new grant model, gauge their support for and understanding of the areas of focus, and assess the sustainability of global grant-funded projects.

Women in Rotary SA Chapter
The committee would like to extend an invitation to you to attend the annual breakfast celebration of International Women's Day.
This is an opportunity to hear Judi Brown, a member of the Rotary Club of Morialta, inspire us with her story which has led to her career in nursing and midwifery throughout the UK, South Africa and Australia.
Rotary Club of Onkaparinga Hills Brixpo
In a recent disaster, the TV news showed a man lamenting his loss. “I’ve lost all my office stuff and my LEGO” he said as he sifted through the wreckage.
What more is there to say? Picking up on the LEGO sentiment, the Onkaparinga Rotary Club, is planning a major expo in the Hills for March 14th and 15th.

Di Davidson has lived and worked in and around the Murraylands and Riverland region and most of the Murray Darling Basin for all of her life. An agricultural scientist from the Lower Lakes area, she has operated businesses in the viticultural and horticultural industries for 45 years, with an abiding interest in the sustainable management of soils, water and all natural resources.

Who Should Attend?
 
Rotarians who have an interest in expanding their knowledge of Rotary. You
do not have to hold a leadership position in your club to attend RLI. Rotarians with a few weeks experience and Rotarians with more than 40 years in Rotary have attended courses.
 
It is highly recommended for those commencing Club or District leadership roles .
